History of Three UK
Three UK was born out of bold ambition — the UK's first 3G network, launched on 3 March 2003 (hence "Three"). The early years were commercially difficult: 3G-only coverage meant dead spots where rivals had 2G fallback. But Hutchison's investment held firm, and Three pioneered unlimited data in 2010 — reshaping the entire UK mobile industry.

2004–06
