Text PAC to 65075. A 9-character PAC arrives by text within 60 seconds. Valid for 30 days. Your network is legally required to provide this instantly and free of charge โ no exceptions.

Or STAC (new number)
If you don't need to keep your current number, text STAC to 75075. Triggers the switch without number porting. Old contract cancels automatically on switch completion.

Sign up with new network
Sign up with your chosen network and enter your PAC code when asked if you want to keep your number. The new network manages the port โ you do not need to contact your old network separately.

Transfer completes in one working day
Switch typically completes within one working day of the PAC being submitted. Keep both SIMs available until the new one is confirmed active โ you will receive a text from the new network.

Cancelling your old contract before using a PAC may permanently lose your phone number. The PAC process ends your old contract automatically on the day the port completes. Never cancel separately beforehand.
Your Ofcom rights when switching
- Networks must provide PAC or STAC within 60 seconds of text request โ free of charge
- No exit fee charged for switching after providing a PAC
- Number must transfer within one working day of PAC being provided to the new network
- You have the right to cancel a new contract within 14 days (cooling-off period) if you change your mind
